TaperedPlus’s ROCKDeck System is a non combustible, insulation system specifically designed for balconies, terraces, and plant room roofs. It is also an ideal solution for roofs that have roof mounted equipment and requires a non combustible insulation system below, such as
Solar and PV (photovoltaics).
The system comprises of a 12.7mm coverboard, 1220 x 2440mm, layer classified as A1 non combustible in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, compatible with a wide range of waterproofing membranes and a Dual Density non-combustible insulation underlay, tested to withstand point loads and permanent loads.
The system is compatible with a wide range of waterproofing membranes and offers designers and specifiers a robust, non-combustible insulation system.
Additional Infomation
The 12.7mm thick roof cover board layer has glass mat facings that are embedded into a water / moisture resistant treated gypsum core with a pre-primed surface, aiding waterproofing membrane adhesion. The unique composition offers excellent fire resistance, moisture resistance, and wind uplift properties.
Mineral wool warm deck insulation with an A1 Non-Combustible Euroclass rating. Unique Dual Density technology providing unrivalled compressive strength performance for material of this nature.
