Wardian Towers, London

The Wardian Towers development “provides residents with a serene, natural haven within the heart of London’s business and financial district”, according to the UK Construction media. The Towers and its aesthetics are inspired by the work of explorer and doctor Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward.

TaperedPlus in conjunction with Xtratherm supplied TR/MG for the full PIR scheme. The East Tower L55 and Machine roofs were 798m2 in total, so we supplied the roof in two call-offs to make deliveries more manageable on site.

The vision for the Wardian “is to take inspiration from [Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward’s] curiosity, his spirit of adventure and his sense of precision, and to create the most exciting new development in the British capital”.
